Washington Park is the largest of Denver’s nationally known city parks. The park totals 162 acres, comprises of 2 lakes, a local recreation center, jogging paths, tennis courts and was originally constructed in 1899. It is especially popular and vibrant during the spring and summer months.

The Washington Park neighborhood surrounds the park. “Wash Park” as it is affectionately known, is situated between Interstate 25 to the south, Speer Boulevard to the north and from University Boulevard to the east to Downing Street to the west.
